This second language is a vital tool for these kids to create a brighter future for themselves. Thanks to Hogar Jesus for opening the doors and to the Director Indira for all of your collaboration.

Many local volunteers were present with the members of the church, Iglesea Comunidad del Este, to whom we are very grateful. It was a blessing to be able to help this pastor who has done so much great work in her community over the years.

CONEXION SCHOOL OF MUSIC

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

As an initiative to bless the communities and congregations, we are working on a new idea.  This idea is to have the band members at Conexión to share their musical knowledge and something more important, to emphasize their personal relationships with God.  Musicians are not mere instrumentalists in the hands of the Lord.  The Sunday of June 6 we started having classes with 44 students coming to learn bass, guitar, keyboard, drums, and singing.  We are grateful for the Christian community “We Trust God” and their pastors for lending its facilities and the teachers, my bandmates, Nahum, Silvia, Ismael, Nata, Hugo, and Mauritius for their willingness and dedication to this ministry.  Classes will be held once and month and Nahum is also teaching music theory and reading.  We hope to see the fruits of this effort very soon.
